ITINERARY
AM Program
There is no better
way to discover the Flora & Fauna of our beautiful country than to
take part in this special tour. In the comfort of our air-conditioned 4x4
vehicles, we leave Dubai in the morning driving east through magnificent
Desert Landscapes. We continue our journey towards the picturesque
Hajar Mountains which form the natural boundary between the UAE and
Oman, 'Hajar' meaning (Rocks), is a geologists paradise, the rocks
are made of volcanic lavas, oozes, and ocean crust, formed some
sixty-seventy million years ago deep under the Indian Ocean. After
reaching Hatta Village, a small enclave in Oman belonging to Dubai
Emirate, the contrast between the two landscapes will become more and more
evident. We stop at the newly restored Heritage village where you can
witness the life of days gone by. We continue our journey through flush
green Oasis and Wadis ('dried-up river beds), which are often
submerged under water during the rainy season. By now the mid day
temperature will reach its zenith and this would be a good excuse to enjoy a
quick dip in one of the Water Pools found deep down in the Wadis
after which you will enjoy a Picnic lunch accompanied with refreshments.
PM Program
After lunch we will head
towards the nearby desert of Margham located on the east side of Dubai. Our
professional Safari Guides will take you off the road and over the sand in a
combination of man and machine attempting to conquer the undulating dunes,
as we travel along and over these gigantic sand dunes, we will stop at
different locations to watch the amazing flora & fauna. We visit (c)
Camel Farms, our guides will be happy to explain everything you wanted to
know about this marvelous beast. The 'king' or the 'ship' of the desert
T H E C A M E L will certainly be on our agenda, for those who would
like to experience a unique ride, this will be their best opportunity to do
so. Far in the horizon, you will notice the Sun in a spectacular
array of colors diving down and disappearing in the vast sea of
sands, making this moment the highlight of the journey. Once at our camp
site you will have the opportunity to enjoy many of the activities such as;
Camel rides, (H) Henna Tattooing, Shisha
smoking, try out a national dress or just relax under the night sky! To complement this
dazzling experience, our guides will prepare a mouth-watering BBQ
cooked on an open fire the traditional way, to be followed by our
belly
dancing show. Your wish to remain under the stars for the rest of the
night is undoubtedly appreciated and our guides will make sure your wish
come true. A tent setup with all the paraphernalia for a good night sleep
will be ready! Early morning a light B'fst will be prepared after which you
will bid farewell to this Arabian dream!
